VGF food grain rice has been distributed among poor, helpless and distressed families on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr-2026 in Kakina Union Parishad of Kaliganj Upazila of Lalmonirhat district.
Today, Wednesday, March 18, at 10 am, Kaliganj Upazila Assistant Education Officer AKM Tajibur Rahman officially inaugurated the rice distribution program at the Union Parishad office.
10 kg of rice was distributed to 2978 distressed people of the union.
Present at the time of the rice distribution were Union Parishad Panel Chairman Sharaf Uddin Sharif, UP Secretary Sajjadur Rahman, Accountant cum Computer Operator Farzana Yasmin, UP members Yakub Ali, Tuhinur Rahman Tuhin, Ramzan Ali, Yasin Ali, UP members Bilkis Begum, Kohinur Begum and other dignitaries of the area.
