​The newly elected leaders of the Upazila Krishak Dal have strongly condemned and protested the terrorist attack on Zisan Barua, the Office Secretary of Nizampur College Chhatradal in Mirsharai. On Tuesday morning (June 16), the leaders visited the injured Chhatradal leader at his residence in the Haitkandi union of the upazila, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
​During the visit, the Krishak Dal leaders inquired about Zisan’s health condition and expressed their deep sympathy to his family members, wishing him a speedy recovery.
​Speaking to the journalists present, the newly elected President of the Upazila Krishak Dal, Md. Ashraf Uddin, said:
​”Political violence and terrorist activities can never be acceptable in any healthy political practice. We vehemently condemn the barbaric attack on Zisan Barua. We demand that the administration immediately conduct a fair investigation into this incident, bring the perpetrators to justice, and ensure exemplary punishment.”

​The leaders urged everyone to maintain political coexistence in Mirsharai and to remain united against all forms of terrorist activities
