Gazi Gias Uddin Bashir Jhalokati : Jhalokati Sadar Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Segufta Mehnaz visited Chamta BK Secondary School in Jhalokati Sadar on Saturday (January 31).
During the visit, he inquired about the overall educational activities, administrative management and infrastructure of the school. During this time, UNO Segufta Mehnaz had detailed discussions with the school’s headmaster, other teachers and members of the managing committee.
Considering the issue of using the school as a polling station in view of the upcoming elections, he observed the various communication systems of the polling station, the condition of the classrooms and the effectiveness of the CCTV cameras installed as part of the security system. He provided necessary directions to the concerned authorities to reinstall and keep the CCTV cameras operational as per the appropriate instructions.
The Upazila Executive Officer expressed his satisfaction by stating that the overall environment, teaching activities and discipline of the school were satisfactory. After the inspection, he signed the school’s inspection book.
Later, the UNO spent time with the students participating in the school’s annual banquet and gave a directional speech to them. In his speech, he emphasized the students’ discipline, morality, patriotism and developing themselves as worthy citizens in the future.
At that time, the teachers, members of the managing committee and students of the school were present.
