Sujan Kumar Tanchangya: Bilaichhari (Rangamati) Correspondent:- Relief has been distributed among the helpless families affected by the flood in Farua Union in Bilaichhari Upazila of Rangamati.
On Saturday (July 25), under the leadership of Headman Rinlam Bom Palam of Jamuna Chhari and directly funded by the Headman’s younger brother Rev. John Bom Nazirin Church of America, this rice was distributed among the families affected by the disaster. Present at the time were Bilaichhari Upazila BNP President SM Salam Fakir, General Secretary Md. Zafar Ahmed, Farua Union BNP President Shamsu Tanchangya, Vice President Md. Harun and Headman Samullya Tanchangya and other dignitaries.
Headman Rinlam Bam (Palam) said that on behalf of Pastor John Bam, rice, potatoes, oil and other food items were distributed among 200 disaster-affected families in Farua Bazar, Tarachari, Gayainchari, Egujayachari, Shukkurchari, and Jamunachari areas.
