Awami League president Sheikh Hasina said, Awami League gives, knows how to give, and stands by the common people. Those who constantly remove Awami League from power, overthrow it, do not allow elections, kill people, commit arson, but now they do not give iftar to any people, they themselves eat iftar parties. Even going to the iftar party, he sings the gossip of Awami League without mentioning the name of Allah’s Messenger. They eat iftar and sing gossip about Awami League. And when the Awami League will be overthrown, it is seen.
He said these things at a discussion meeting organized by Awami League on the occasion of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s 104th birth anniversary and National Children’s Day 2024 celebration on Monday (March 18) afternoon.
He said, we will not have iftar party, we will distribute this food among common people. Only Awami League and our affiliated organizations Jubo League, Chhatra League, Volunteer League and our elected public representatives are distributing Iftar among common people in whole Bangladesh.
“You will put on a microphone and produce the Awami League government. What is the crime of Awami League, has made them independent? Is that a crime? What is the crime of Awami League, standing next to poor people? It is a crime that the country has developed today? The democracy they talk about, but we have brought back the democracy.
