Dainik Swadesh Bichitra training workshop and representative conference held

On Saturday (May 9), more than two hundred journalists from the country’s divisional districts and upazilas participated in the training workshop of Dainik Swadesh Bichitra at Tropicana Tower in Purana Paltan in the capital. The trainers in the training workshop were Professor Robayet Ferdous of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of Dhaka University, former Chairperson of the Department of Journalism and Media Communication of Green University of Bangladesh Dr. Md. Oliur Rahman, former Director of Press Institute Bangladesh Mizanur Rahman Gramsi.

In the second phase, a discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of Babu Ashok Dhar, Editor and Publisher of Dainik Swadesh Bichitra, and certificates of appreciation were given to the trained journalists. The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the reading of the Gita.

Engineer Ishraq Hossain, State Minister for Freedom Fighters’ Affairs and MP of Dhaka-06, was the chief guest at the program. Bashiruzzaman, Permanent Member of Bangladesh Journalists’ Unity Council (BJUC), Md. Riaz Uddin, Editor and Publisher of Human Rights News, Md. Manjur Hossain Isa, Chairman of Bangladesh National Human Rights Association, and others.

The Executive Editor of the Daily Swadesh Bichitra and Convener of the Organizing Committee Nasiruddin Milon moderated the event. Senior Journalist Dilip Kumar, Associate Editor Azgar Hossain, Amjad Hossain, Saiful Islam Miron and journalists from various levels of the newspaper were present at the event.
