A huge joyous procession was held under the leadership of Engineer MA Majid, a member of Mymensingh Ishwarganj Upazila BNP and a candidate for nomination from Ishwarganj-8 in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election.
On September 1, 2025, on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of BNP, leaders and activists from various unions, BNP and affiliated organizations were present in the procession.
Addressing the leaders and activists, he said that today is the 47th anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP. 47 years ago, on this day in 1978, martyred President Ziaur Rahman founded this party. BNP will once again come to power in the next election with the support of the people. This is the hope of the party leaders and activists. Just as BNP has been appreciated by the people in the past, we have to work to be appreciated in the same way. Bangladesh Nationalist Party- BNP participated in the 47th founding anniversary rally organized by Mymensingh South and North districts and Mymensingh metropolis with a huge showdown. The chief guest of the joy rally was Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP’s National Standing Committee Member Professor Dr. A. Z. M. Zahid Hossain. The rally walked through the main roads of the city in a lively atmosphere.
Present at the event were BNP Central Committee Joint Convener Syed Emran Saleh Prince, Mymensingh Division BNP Co-Organizing Secretary and Mymensingh Metropolitan BNP Senior Joint Convener Abu Wahab Akand Wahid, Mymensingh South District BNP Convener Md. Zakir Hossain Bablu and member secretary Rokonuzzaman Sarkar Rokon, Mymensingh North District BNP convener AKM Enayet Ullah Kalam and joint convener Motahar Hossain Talukder, along with leaders of various upazila BNPs.
