Chairman candidate Abu Ishaq has been allotted boat symbol in Shilmuri North UP election in Barura, Comilla. Awami League nominated chairman candidate Haji Md Abu Ishaq received the boat symbol at the office of Barura Upazila Election Officer and Returning Officer Md Rajibul Karim on Tuesday afternoon, Md Nashir Uddin Lincoln, General Secretary of Upazila Awami League, Barura Municipal Awami League President Md Abdur Rashid, Shilmuri were present. North Union Awami League General Secretary Md. Kabir Hossain Majumdar, Union Awami League Leader Md. Salim Mia, Union Chhatra League President Md. Rakib Uddin, Md. Zafarul Islam Bayjid, Sayem Hossain and party leaders and activists were present. He told the journalists present that he has served the public with honor for the last 5 years, this time he has been allotted the boat symbol and expressed his firm belief that if he is elected with the support of the public, he will complete the unfinished works. After receiving the symbols, he exchanged greetings and prayers with the voters in different wards and villages along with the general voters and supporters of the area.
