A discussion and quarterly general meeting on the progress of the government and the role of the media was held at Hotel Ornate on Saturday afternoon, organized by the Bangladesh Journalists Unity Council (BJUC).
The program was presided over by BJUC President Raju Alim, with BJUC Chief Spokesperson Khan Nazrul Islam Hannan as the chief guest, Bangladesh Journalists Unity Council (BJUC) Founding Chairman Sabbir Ahmed Rony delivering the welcome address, and BJUC Standing Council Member Mohammad Bashiruzzaman Khan inaugurating the program.
Deputy Attorney General Advocate Ahsan Ullah, Television Journalists Association of Bangladesh Secretary General Kabi Ashok Dhar, Bangladesh Mofusal Journalists Forum President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Ahmed Abu Zafar, Bangladesh Editors Forum Secretary General Omar Faruk Jalal, Human Rights News Editor and Publisher Md. Riaz Uddin, TRAB President Abdus Salam, Bangladesh Krira Adhikar Parishad Member Secretary Md. Dulal Hossain, Bishwa Ijtema Organizing Committee Member Alhaj Monir Hossain were present as special guests at the event.
