The triennial election-2026 of Dinajpur’s voluntary and non-governmental development organization Al Falah Mango Development Organization (Rajbati) has been completed in a peaceful and orderly environment. Mohammad Tamiz Uddin has been elected as the president and Md. Tahera Begum has been elected as the general secretary.
The election held at the organization’s office on July 17, 2026, was completed with the spontaneous participation of the members. The head of the Election Commission and former social service officer S. S. Rafiqul Islam, who was in charge of conducting the election, officially announced the results after counting the votes.
According to the announced results, Mohammad Tamiz Uddin has been elected as the president of the seven-member executive committee. Professor Abu Saleh Md. Ibrahim has been elected as the vice-president and Md. Tahera Begum has been elected as the general secretary. Dr. Md. Lutfar Rahman, Md. Taibur Rahman, Md. Meherun Nesa and Md. Taimul Islam.
The Election Commission said that the election was held in a transparent, free and impartial environment following the organization’s constitution. After the announcement of the results, the members present and well-wishers congratulated the newly elected committee members.
The newly elected president Mohammad Tamiz Uddin said that all the members of the organization will work to further expand human welfare, education, social development and public service activities. General Secretary Md. Tahera Begum expressed gratitude for the trust of the members and said that she will fulfill her responsibility with everyone to make the organization’s activities more dynamic, accountable and service-oriented.
It is worth noting that Al Falah Mango Development Organization has been conducting welfare, education, social awareness and various developmental activities for the poor and helpless people for a long time. The members expressed their hope that the organization’s activities will accelerate further under the leadership of the newly elected committee.
