Budhanti Union Jubo Dal General Secretary Md. Mizanur Rahman of Bijoynagar Upazila of Brahmanbaria formed a human chain to protest against the filing of a check dishonor case of Tk 2.35 crore for opening a fake bank account in the name of Mizanur Rahman.
The human chain was held at Budhanti Bus Stand on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway Road in Bijoynagar Upazila of Brahmanbaria at 4 pm on Saturday.
The human chain was addressed by Budhanti Union BNP President Md. Mahbubul Alam, Organizing Secretary Md. Md. Mosahidul Islam Sohel, Bijoynagar Upazila Jubo Dal Convening Committee Member Md. Mizanur Rahman, Upazila Swechchhasebak Dal Member Secretary Md. Khabirur Rahman Monir, Budhanti Union Chhatra Dal President Md. Anwar Hossain Nayan, Upazila Tati Dal Member Secretary Md. Anwar Hossain Manju, Budhanti Union Jubo Dal Organizing Secretary Md. Ujjwal Khan, and prominent person from Budhanti village Abdul Malek Sujan Bhuiyan, among others.
The speakers said from the human chain that Budhanti Union Jubo Dal General Secretary Md. Due to a family dispute between Mizanur Rahman and Shamim Bhuiyan of Budhanti and Chamak Bhuiyan, a bank account was opened in the name of Jubo Dal leader Mizanur Rahman on November 2, 2025, in collusion with some dishonest officers of the Farmgate sub-branch of the Karwan Bazar branch of Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC in Dhaka. Shamim Bhuiyan filed a check dishonor case of Tk 2.35 crore using two checks from that account.
Which is completely baseless, imaginary and a blueprint of a deep conspiracy. Shamim Bhuiyan has been involved in many such conspiracies in the past. He has harassed many people including the current member of our village, Sohag Bhuiyan, by filing fake check dishonor cases. We demand exemplary punishment for the dishonest bank officer and Shamim Bhuiyan.
