Tawhid Hossain Sarkar:
Bangladesh Workers’ Welfare Federation Central President Atiqur Rahman said, “For 15 long years, the people’s voting rights were taken away from the country. Law enforcement agencies have been used against the people, which is a sad chapter in history.”
He claimed, “More than 1500 people were martyred in the anti-discrimination student-worker-people movement of July-August 2024. Out of these, 149 workers, including two women workers, were martyred and more than 30 thousand people were injured and maimed.”
