Mosahid Ahmed, Moulvibazar: Teachers, students and guardians have been suffering due to waterlogging in the traditional Kali Prasad High School grounds in Munshibazar, Kamalganj Upazila of Moulvibazar for a long time. Students are facing difficulty in moving around every day due to the mud and dirty water accumulated throughout the school grounds. Locals complain that despite long-standing requests to the concerned authorities to solve this problem, no effective initiative has been taken yet. Especially during the rains, knee-deep water accumulates in the school grounds, as a result of which students have to travel to school through muddy water. It has also been alleged that many students have developed various health problems including various skin diseases. During the recently held SSC exams, water was also accumulated in the school grounds. Locals said that the examinees had to walk through mud and water to enter the center.
