Kazi Mohammad Abul Kashem’s 26th Death Anniversary Wednesday

The 26th death anniversary of noted businessman and philanthropist Kazi Mohammad Abul Kashem is being observed wednesday (October 8). A respected resident of Brahmanbaria and long-time Dhaka-based social worker, Kazi Abul Kashem passed away on this day in 1998.

Late Kazi Abul Kashem was the father of Kazi Jasimul Islam (Bappy), President of ZOK Group and a well-known sports organizer. Throughout his life, he made significant contributions to education, community welfare, and social development.

In his native village Noyonpur, Brahmanbaria, he established Kazi Johra Kashem Primary School in memory of his wife. The institution currently accommodates over 300 students. Under his guidance and support, several other schools, madrasas, charitable clinics, and welfare organizations were founded to serve the community.

To commemorate the day, a doa and milad mahfil has been organized at Kazi Bhaban in Dhaka, followed by the distribution of food among the underprivileged.

Family members, relatives, and well-wishers are remembering Kazi Mohammad Abul Kashem with deep respect, love, and prayers for the salvation of his departed soul.
