Organized by Dinajpur District Administration and Public Works Department and National Housing Authority of Dinajpur On the occasion of World Habitat Day-2023 celebrations, rallies and discussion meetings were held. A discussion was held on the occasion of the day at Dinajpur District Commissioner’s conference room on Monday, October 2 at 10:30 am. Deputy Commissioner Shakil Ahmed, the president of the program, gave the opening speech at the beginning of the discussion meeting. ADC (Education and ICT) Md. Noor-e-Alam, Deputy Civil Surgeon Md. Shah took part in the open discussion on the theme “Sustainable cities are the driving force for the growth and recovery of sustainable urban economy” moderated by Assistant Commissioner of District Administration M.A. Quader. Sharif, National Housing Authority Dinajpur Executive Engineer Mainul Haque Motaeed, Dinajpur Public Works Sub-Divisional Engineer (Phulbari Public Works Sub-Division) Imran Rahman, Sub-Divisional Engineer (Public Works E/M Sub-Division Dinajpur) Nafis Chowdhury, District Awami League Joint General Secretary Farukuzzaman Chowdhury Michael, organizing secretary Raihan Kabir Sohag, former commander of District Freedom Fighters Sangsad Syed Mokaddek Hossain Bablu, sub-divisional engineer of Dinajpur Water Development Board Md. Siddikuzzaman Nayan etc. Kazi Tarikuzzaman, Assistant Engineer (Civil) of Dinajpur Public Works Department presented a presentation on the occasion of the day at the beginning of the program. Officials and employees of different levels of Public Works Department and National Housing Authority Dinajpur participated in the event. Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Shakeel Ahmed inaugurated a colorful rally by blowing balloons and festoons on the occasion of the day at the Deputy Commissioner’s office premises at 10 am.
