A workshop was held in Joypurhat to enhance the capacity of bank and finance company officials on CMSME financing policies. The workshop was organized by Pubali Bank PLC Joypurhat branch at Swapnachaya Community Center in the city on Thursday at 9 am.
In collaboration with all the scheduled banks and financial institutions operating in Joypurhat district and under the overall supervision of Bangladesh Bank Bogra, the workshop was chaired by Bangladesh Bank Bogra Executive Director Sakhawat Hossain. The workshop was attended by Sonali Bank PLC Bogra General Manager Rashidul Islam, Pubali Bank PLC Bogra Regional Head ASM Raihan Shamim, Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank Zonal Head Wahidul Kabir, Agrani Bank Zonal Head Zulfiqar Ali Akand, Joypurhat Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Anwarul Haque Anu, Sonali Bank AGM and Program Coordinator of the Entrepreneur Development Training Course Mostafizur Rahman, among others.
The workshop provided advice on capacity building strategies for the concerned officers to increase services in the banking and financial sectors. Since Joypurhat is an agricultural-based district, everyone was urged to work sincerely to increase the services provided to the customers here.
