Staff Reporter : Mahfuz Kabir Mukta, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of popular digital media VOD Bangla, has received an award crest in recognition of his contribution as a media partner in the photography exhibition titled ’15 Years of Fascism and 24 Years of Mass Uprising’.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan was present as the chief guest at the discussion meeting and photography exhibition jointly organized by the Bangladesh Photojournalist Association (BPJA) and ‘Amra BNP Paribas’ at the National Press Club on Saturday. He presented the award crest to Mahfuz Kabir Mukta at the event.
The event, chaired by the Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary and BNP Media Cell member Atiqur Rahman Rumon, was attended by National Press Club President Kabi Hasan Hafiz, Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists Secretary General Quader Gani Chowdhury, Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary-1 Zahidul Islam Rony, Bangladesh Photojournalist Association (BPJA) President KM Mohsin and General Secretary Babul Talukder as special guests.
Leaders of the organizing organization, prominent photographers, media workers and people from different walks of life participated in the event.
It is worth noting that the photography exhibition titled ’15 Years of Fascism and 24th Mass Uprising’ features rare photographs of various important moments of movement, torture, resistance and mass uprising. VOD Bangla is the media partner of this day-long event.
