 13 talented journalists from different upazilas of Comilla are honored . They will be honored in the organization of Bangladesh Journalists Association Comilla district. It was organized at Capsicum Party Center in the city on Saturday afternoon. The felicitated journalists are ABM Atiqur Rahman Bashar of Debidwar Upazila. He has been working in media since 1976. Currently, he is the upazila representative of Dainik Kale Kantha newspaper. Mohammad Abdul Quddus of Laksam Upazila. He has been doing journalism since 1979. He is representative of Dainik Ittefaq. Habibur Rahman Habib of Daudkandi Upazila. He has been doing journalism since 1976. He is Comilla North District Representative of Dainik Ittefaq. ATM Morshedul Islam Shaju from Homna Upazila. He has been associated with writing since 1990. He is the representative of Daily Us Comilla’s Homna. Mojibur Rahman Molla of Nangalkot Upazila. Joined the newspaper in 1989, Gunijan is the Nangalkot correspondent of daily Ittefaq. Shah Alam Jahangir of Muradnagar Upazila. He joined the newspaper in 1983. Working in local and national daily. Syed Ahmed Lovelu from Brahmanpara upazila. He started working in the newspaper from 1999. He is the editor and publisher of Daily Burichong Brahmanpara. Burichong upazila senior journalist Mosleh Uddin. He started working in newspapers in 1985. He is involved in various social activities. MA Quddus of Chauddagram upazila. He wrote in newspapers since 1990. Currently he is the own correspondent of Dainik Rupasi Bangla. Ripon Ahmed Bhuiyan of Chandina Upazila. Started journalism in 1986. He is the upazila representative of Bhor paper. Mohammad Masud Majumdar from Barura upazila. He has been working for many years in Daily Jayay Din newspaper. Also Senior Lecturer of Jhlam College. Mahmudul Hasan Biplab Sikdar of Meghna Upazila. He started journalism in 1999. He is the Meghna representative of Dainik Us Comilla. Nazmul Karim Farooq of Titas Upazila. He has been a newspaper reporter for the past two decades. He is Titus correspondent of Ittefaq newspaper. Shahzada Emran, general secretary of the association, said, “For the last 17 years, we have tried to support the needs of our colleagues. Earlier, I felicitated seven senior colleagues of Comilla on three separate occasions. Also, I have done a lot of work under the banner of the association, including training of Saiwadis, staying by their side during Corona, taking care of danger, month-long training of prophets. For the first time, 13 quality journalists from 17 upazilas of Comilla are being honored. In four upazilas we did not get senior journalists with the standards of the association.
