Victim Rashida Khatun, the garbage from the cowshed of influential neighbors is being disposed of next to my house. Due to the extreme stench, I blocked the disposal of the garbage from the cowshed past my house. Enraged by this, the influential people severely beat me and injured me on July 3. When I filed a complaint at the police station while I was currently undergoing treatment in the hospital, they set fire to my house, a cowshed and a kitchen on the early morning of July 5. At that time, the terrorists looted my cowshed, including 3 cows and valuables, and burned all the furniture, including 30 maunds of rice.

The victim’s son Ripon Mia (22) said, “Two days before the fire incident, none of us were at home because the opposing party had beaten up our mother. Taking advantage of this, they also set fire to our house in the early hours of the morning with weapons and terrorist forces. At that time, when other members of our family and relatives came forward to put out the fire, the terrorists chased them with weapons and stopped them. The video, which the neighbors believe, contains evidence of these terrorist activities.”

The police visited the scene after a complaint was filed at the police station. However, even after three days of the incident, the police station has not registered a case, alleged victim Rashida Khatun.
