RAB mobile court fined various companies for producing, stocking and selling adulterated and expired cables and unauthorized and fake electric cables in Kamrangirchar area of the capital. Since its inception, RAB has been playing a leading role in arresting all types of criminals and bringing them under the law to maintain the overall law and order situation of the country. Apart from this, prevention of fraud and fraud is an important and ongoing operation of RAB. This operation of RAB has been appreciated in all quarters of the country. In continuation of this, on March 30, 2023, an expeditionary team consisting of RAB Executive Magistrate Mr. Md. Mazharul Islam and RAB-10 completed the mobile court activities in the Kamrangirchar area of the capital Dhaka. Meanwhile, in the presence of the representative of BSTI, the mobile court fined a total of Rs. Out of which Rs 50,000/- (Fifty Thousand) cash to Mohammad Ali Food Products, Rs 50,000/- (Fifty Thousand) cash to Nasir Food Industries and Rs 5,00,000/- (Fifty Thousand) cash to Shukria Cables. Five lakhs) paid a fine of Rs. Besides, on the orders of the learned Executive Magistrate, the said mobile coat worth approximately Rs.40,000/- (forty thousand) adulterated and expired Semai and unauthorized and fake electric cables were seized and destroyed. Preliminary investigation revealed that since quite some time these unscrupulous traders were stocking and marketing adulterated and expired Semai and unlicensed and fake electric cables.
