 On the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day in Chitda Union of Barura, Comilla, a preparation and discussion meeting was held under the guidance of Awami League candidate for Comilla-8 Barura constituency and Comilla South District Awami League Vice President A ZM Shafiuddin Shamim.
This preparatory meeting was held on the initiative of the Union Awami League and the organization in the Muniriya Madrasa premises on August 9, Wednesday afternoon. Former member of Comilla South District Awami League and former Mayor of Barura Municipality Md Bahaduruzzaman, former Joint General Secretary of Barura Upazila Awami League and Chairman of Aganagar Union Parishad Mazharul Islam Mithu, Barura Upazila were present as guests in the preparatory meeting under the chairmanship of Chitda Union Awami League leader Md Mofiz Uddin. Former President of Awami Volunteer League and Chairman of Jhlam Union Parishad Md Nurul Islam, Female Vice Chairman of Barura Upazila Parishad Kamrun Nahar Shikha, Female Councilor of Barura Municipality Ninuara Begum, Member of Upazila Jubo League Rezaul Karim Iqbal, Former President of Barura Upazila Chhatra League Md Farhad Hossain.
A discussion on Bangabandhu’s life philosophy and work was discussed in the program.
