 A preparatory meeting has been held in Rajapur of Jhalkathi for the upcoming Autumn Durga Puja celebrations. Rajapur upazila administration held this meeting on Tuesday, October 10 from 3:30 pm in the upazila parishad meeting room. Under the chairmanship of Rajapur Upazila Executive Officer Farhana Yasmin, Rajapur Upazila Parishad Chairman Principal Md. Moniruzzaman was present as the chief guest.

The president and secretaries of 22 Durga puja mandaps of the upazila were present.
This year, police, Ansar, VDP and other members of the law enforcement forces will perform the duty of maintaining peace in each puja mandap in Rajapur. In Rajapur Upazila, idols have been made in 22 Durga Puja mandaps in autumn Durga Puja mandaps.
