Pragati Kindergarten organizes colorful tree plantation program in Pangsha

With the theme “Let’s plant trees, build a green world” in mind, Pragati Kindergarten located in Bahadurpur (Kazipara) area of ​​Pangsha upazila of Rajbari was organized a colorful tree plantation program on Wednesday (July 22) at around 11:30 am.

Rajbari District Council Administrator Abdus Salam Mia was present as the chief guest at the program. At this time, he said that there is no alternative to tree plantation to protect climate change and environmental balance. He urged everyone to plant more trees from their respective positions and take care of them to build a safe, beautiful and livable Bangladesh for the present and future generations.
Also present at the event were former banker Khalil Pramanik, uncle of Rajbari 2 constituency MP Harun Or Rashid Harun, headmistress Romana Afroza Rumi of Pragati Kindergarten, teachers of the institution, President of the Managing Committee Wazed Ali Dablu and other members, Principal of Pandit Kazi Abul Hossain College Kazi Mamunur Rashid (Tamim), Human Rights Secretary of Pangsha Upazila BNP Abdul Wahab, dignitaries of the area, guardians, students and invited guests from various classes and professions.
At the beginning of the event, the guests were greeted with flowers. After the tree plantation meeting, the guests, students and the present guests planted saplings of various species of fruit, forest and medicinal trees on the campus of the institution.
The speakers said that a tree not only provides oxygen, but also plays an important role in maintaining the balance of the environment, preserving biodiversity and combating natural disasters. Therefore, every citizen should plant at least one tree every year and make it grow.
The event was held in a lively atmosphere. The guests present appreciated such an eco-friendly initiative of Pragati Kindergarten and expressed their hope to organize such social and awareness activities regularly in the future.
