The National Senior 31st Men’s and 7th Women’s Boxing Competition-2025 is starting tomorrow at the Mohammad Ali Boxing Stadium. About 250 boxers from 71 teams, including district sports organizations, boxing clubs, education boards, city corporations, and service organizations, will participate in 25 events. Of which there are 13 men’s and 12 women’s events. Boxer Zinat Ferdous, who recently won a gold medal at the Braga Open Boxing Championship in Portugal, is coming to Dhaka from the United States tomorrow to participate in this national championship. This information was given by the Federation’s General Secretary MA Quddus Khan at a press conference held at the Boxing Stadium on Saturday. At that time, Federation President Lt. Col. (Retd.) MA Latif Khan and Judge Bhuiyan Group General Manager Masud Karim and others were present. Quddus Khan said, ‘Although Chittagong Women’s University has asked four foreign boxers to participate in this tournament, it is not possible because of the national championship. Both domestic and expatriate boxers will participate here.’ The competition will be inaugurated by National Sports Council Secretary Aminul Islam, ndc tomorrow at 10 am. At that time, Federation President Lt. Col. (Retd.) MA Latif Khan and General Secretary MA Quddus Khan will be present.
