On receipt of a complaint that the contractor had laid low-quality rubbish bricks on the macadam of C&B road outside Tongki road (00-1020 meters) under Bangra police station of Muradnagar upazila in the dark of March 31 night, immediate action was taken from the upazila engineer’s office and the work was stopped. Upazila Engineer Md. Raihanul Alam gave a three-day notice to remove the low-quality bricks after inspecting the ground. Today on April 2, the process of removing low-quality bricks has started by hiring workers through contractors. The upazila engineer came along with assistants Mujib and Shafiullah and ordered to remove the rubble from the site with a tractor.
