The semi-final game of the Primary School Gold Cup Football Tournament was held in Goalanda Upazila of Rajbari. The lively participation of students in this tournament organized at the upazila level created a festive atmosphere.
On Tuesday (April 28), at 9 am, Moizaddin Para Government Primary School, versus Ujanchar Model Government Primary School, these two teams participated in the Upazila Parishad field premises. Moizaddin Para Government Primary School won by a margin of 1-0 goals and qualified for the final.
Upazila Primary Education Officer Md. Lutfar Rahman Khan, Assistant Education Officers Abdul Kader and Nasrin Akhter, along with teachers and teachers from various educational institutions were present in the game.
The organizers said that the tournament has been organized with the aim of getting children interested in sports, developing discipline and team spirit. The next final game of the tournament will be played by students of the upazila tomorrow, Wednesday.
