Md. Abdul Haque, Harirampur Correspondent : The expulsion order of Jahidur Rahman Tushar, joint convener of Harirampur Upazila Jubo Dal in Manikganj and three-time former chairman of Boyra Union Parishad, has finally been lifted. The withdrawal of Tushar’s expulsion order was confirmed in a press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Wednesday (November 26). The release mentioned that Jahidur Rahman Tushar was previously dismissed from all levels of BNP, including primary membership, on charges of violating party discipline. Later, in light of his application and the central decision, the expulsion order was lifted and he was reinstated as primary membership.
Reacting to the withdrawal of the expulsion order, Zahidur Rahman Tushar said he is grateful to the party’s top leaders. He also wants to continue working unitedly for the party’s interests in the future, following the guidance of district BNP convener Afroza Khanam Rita.
According to locals, party discipline and being responsible for political decisions are essential for any democratic organization. By withdrawing the punitive measures and giving the concerned leader a new opportunity to work, the internal coordination and unity of the party will be further strengthened.
