Livestock Service Week and Exhibition held at Barura, Comilla.
Barura Upazila Executive Officer Nu-Emong Marma Mong inaugurated the Livestock Exhibition Fair at Barura Shaheed Smriti Government College Fair Ground at 10 am on Thursday, April 18, keeping in mind the theme of ‘livestock rich country, build smart Bangladesh’.
Organized by Barura Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital, in collaboration with Livestock and Dairy Development Project (LDDP) and chaired by Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Nasrin Sultana Tanu, Mayor of Barura Municipality Md. Baktar Hossain Bakhtiar, Upazila Livestock Extension Officer Dr. Md. Zakir Hossain were special guests. , upazila election officer Osman Gani, upazila education officer Md. Tariqul Islam, upazila family planning officer Md. Yasin Mia, brave freedom fighter Abdul Mannan.
Assistant Professor of Jhlam High School and College and correspondent journalist of Daily Zayzaydin newspaper Mohammad Masud Majumdar, chairman of Vauksar Union Parishad Ahmed Jamal Masud, advisory member of Rakta Loan Social Organization Kazi Momin Ullah Bhuia, office editor of Barura Upazila Press Club and correspondent journalist of Daily Bhorer Dak newspaper Rota were present: Omar Farooq, Publicity Editor and Daily Samajkanth Newspaper Staff Reporter Journalist Md Sharif Uddin.
Upazila Livestock Office LSP and daily Rupasi Bangla newspaper’s staff reporter journalist Md. Jahangir Alam spoke as special guests.
It should be noted that the Honorable Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the Nationwide Animal Resource Service Week and Exhibition 2024 in the capital Dhaka on Thursday, April 18. On this day, farmers from different areas of Barura upazila displayed hundreds of domestic animals such as cows, goats, sheep and pigeons in different stalls.
