“Eggs contain protein, should be eaten every day” A colorful rally and discussion meeting along with a program to sell safe eggs at affordable prices was held in Lalmonirhat to celebrate World Egg Day-2025.

On Friday at 10 am, the District Administration, District Livestock Department, Poultry Association and Animal Health Association Lalmonirhat organized the program at the Lalmonirhat Collectorate ground, and the program was presided over by Lalmonirhat District Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam. Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner HM Rakib Haider spoke at the program.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Russell Mia, Lalmonirhat Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Md. Shahadat Hossain Suma (BPM-Bar), Lalmonirhat District Fisheries Officer Md. Sarwar Zaman, Veterinary Officer Enamul Haque, Lalmonirhat District Poultry Farm Owners Association President Sheikh Md. Manjurul Alam and General Secretary Md. Farhan Tanvir Ullas, Animal Health Marketing Association Lalmonirhat President Md. Munna, among others.

Moderated by Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Belal Hossain Officers and employees of the district administration, district and upazila livestock departments, poultry associations and animal health associations, farmers, and businessmen were present at that time.
‎After the ceremony, eggs were distributed among the public.
