Local journalist Hasan Mahmud Sujan was harassed and verbally abused for making a complaint against Abul Hasnat, resident engineer of Bangladesh Electricity Development Board, Qutubdia. Threats of death have been made. The audio of such behavior in public in his office from government duties has now gone viral on social media. An audio of which was spread on social media. In that audio, PDB engineer Abul Hasnat told journalist Sujan. Can be heard “news against me! I will beat and remove the skin of the back. You are a bad journalist!” Hasnat also said, “Don’t you see me sona Chikon writing? Why did you file a complaint with the DUC?” Meanwhile, PDB engineer Abul Hasnat said, “I was very excited at that time. I shouldn’t have done this. Basically, I could not control my anger. Moreover, I did not know that he is a journalist.” When asked about this, PDB Chakriya executive engineer Riazul Haque said, “I have heard about the incident. I have resolved the issue of journalist Sujan.” He said, “Journalist Sujan has given a complaint against Engineer Abul Hasnat or Dudu.
