Fertilizers and seeds have been distributed among the marginal and small farmers during the agricultural rehabilitation program 2023-2024. The distribution ceremony was held at the upazila agricultural office premises on Monday at 11 am. The chief guest of the distribution program organized by the Upazila Administration and Agriculture Office was the Upazila Council Chairman Principal Md. Moniru. Zjaman Monir. Under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Farhana Yachmin, female vice chairman Afroza Akhtar Laiju, agricultural extension officer Md. Mostafizuron Rahman, Meherun Nesha Papri and others were special guests. A total of 3,100 small and traditional farmers in 6 unions of the upazila were given 20 kg of wheat seeds for every 1 bigha of land. 20 kg DAP and 10 kg MOP fertilizer. Maize seed 2 kg, DAP 20 kg and MOP 10 kg fertilizer. Mustard 1 kg, 10 kg DAP and 10 kg MOP fertilizer. Sunflower seeds 1kg, 10kg DAP and 10kg MOP fertilizer. Soybean 8kg, 10kg DAPO 10kg MOP Fertilizer. Mung seeds 5kg, 10kg DAP and 5kg MOP fertilizer. Lentil seeds 5kg, 10kg DAP and 5kg MOP fertilizer. Kg of Kesari seed, 10kg of DAP fertilizer and 5kg of MOP fertilizer will be given as main support.
