Preparation meeting for SSC, Dakhil, SSC (Vocational) and Dakhil Vocational exam to be held from 30th April 2023 was held in Jhalkathi. On Sunday (March 9) at 3 pm in the District Commissioner’s conference room under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Farah Gul Nijhum, Central Secretaries of various examination centers and their representatives, Sadar Upazila Education Officer Harun Or Rashid were present. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Jewel Rana presided over the meeting. This year the exam will be held in total 32 centers in Jhalkathi. Among them, 17 SSC exam centers, 7 Dakhil and 8 vocational centers. District Commissioner Farah Gul Nijhum welcomed all present and started the work of the meeting. He requested all the concerned parties to complete the necessary activities to conduct the SSC/equivalent examination to be held on 30th April 2023 in a fair, impartial and standard environment. Advised Union Secretary to ensure boundary and security at examination centers. He instructed to maintain contact with the district administration in case of emergency. He said to enforce section 144 in the examination center. He said to ensure that there are no photocopying shops around the examination centre. The police force has been deployed to control the law and order situation in the examination center. The district administrator also said that everyone should be more aware as the SSC/honor examination is a serious examination. Examination center secretaries inform the names of the educational institutions under the centers and the number of examinees and highlight the overall status of the centers.
