The authorities of Islamic University (IU) in Khustia announced the suspension of examinations to allow hindu students to celebrate Durga Puja.
A press release, signed by IU acting registrar Professor Dr M Manjurul Haque, was issued in this regard on Saturday (13 September).
According to the press release, examinations will not be held on 28 and 29 september across IU departments to facilitate the celebration of Durga Puja by hindu students.
Moreover, on the occasion of Durga Puja, the university will remain closed from 30 September to October 05.
