Inauguration of construction work of administrative building and hall room in Tentulia

The construction work of the expanded administrative building and hall room of the Upazila Complex in Tentulia, Panchagarh has been inaugurated.

On Sunday (May 3) afternoon, the foundation stone of the construction work was laid by the MP of Panchagarh-1 constituency Muhammad Naushad Jamir, who was present as the chief guest at the place adjacent to the Agricultural Extension Office of the Upazila Parishad.

According to the relevant sources, this modern administrative building and hall room is being constructed at a contract price of about 6 crore taka under the implementation of the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED). Through this project, dynamism in the official activities of the Upazila administration and an improved environment for meetings and seminars will be ensured.

The foundation stone laying ceremony was presided over by Tentulia Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Afroz Shahin Khasru and was attended by Executive Engineer Panchagarh Mahmud Zaman, Upazila Engineer Idris Ali, Upazila BNP President Shahadat Hossain Ranju, General Secretary Rezaul Karim Shahin and Organizing Secretary Abu Sayeed Mia.

Among others, BNP Organizing Secretary Abu Bakkar Siddique Kabul, officials and employees of various departments of the administration, leaders and activists of various BNP organizations, representatives of contracting organizations and local dignitaries were also present.

Speaking as the chief guest, Member of Parliament Muhammad Nowshad Zamir said, “With the increase in the scope of work of the upazila administration, the construction of modern infrastructure is very important. Once this building is constructed, the people of the area will be able to receive services more easily and in a beautiful environment.”

He instructed the concerned to complete the construction work within the stipulated time while maintaining the quality of the work.
