It is said that he went to the spot by boat along with senior reporter Sharif Biswas of Channel 24, Hasan Ali of Banglavision, Sabina Yasmin Shyamoli of NTV and a cameraman. After making a video for a while, Talbaria Union Parishad Chairman Abdul Hannan Mandal ordered a total of 6 terrorists including Shamim, Tikka and Sajib to attack. Two of them had their faces covered with towels. They tried to sink the journalist’s boat by ramming it with a speedboat. At that time they tried to kidnap the journalists. In connection with the attack on 6 journalists in the Padma River in Kushtia, a complaint was lodged with the Kushtia Model Police Station against 3 other unidentified persons, including the names of Shamim, Tikka and Sajib, with Talbaria Union Parishad Chairman Abdul Hannan Mandal as the main accused. whose number is 43/23. At night, Kushtia Model Police Station OC Syed Ashiqur Rahman said, I have received the complaint, after investigation, action will be taken against the culprits. Meanwhile, the Kushtia Television Journalist Association has called for a human chain program at 11 am on Saturday to protest this attack on behalf of the journalists. Prior to this, various media have broadcasted continuous news about illegal extraction of sand from Padma river. Journalists including Kushtia Television Journalist Association strongly condemned and protested the incident. At 11 o’clock today, the journalists in a human chain at the police station strictly asked the administration to quickly arrest those involved in the incident and demand strict trial.
