Five-day in-house training workshop begins at Rameb

Rajshahi Correspondent: A five-day in-house training workshop has begun at Rajshahi Medical University (RAMU) to enhance the skills of its officers and employees and streamline administrative activities.
Professor Dr. Mohd. Jawadul Haque inaugurated the workshop at the conference room of the university’s DCEC building on Saturday morning. The program was presided over by Professor Dr. Md. Shah Alam.
Dr. Md. Zakir Hossain Khondakar was present as the special guest. In addition, the university’s College Inspector Professor Dr. Shah Md. Badruddoza, Director (Finance and Accounts) Nazim Uddin Ahmed, Deputy College Inspector Professor Dr. Md. Monir-ul-Islam and Assistant Director (P.O.) Md. Khairul Alam and other officials and employees were present at the event.
On the first day of the training workshop, training was provided on office management, document naming system and government vehicle related policies. On the second day, treasury management, and on the third day, training will be provided on salary determination system, Government Employees (Discipline and Appeal) Rules-2018 and government notifications.
In addition, training will be provided on e-GP and e-filing procedures on the fourth day, and on the last day, training will be provided on the Government Servants (Conduct) Rules-1979 and administrative procedures.
The university administration said that the workshop has been organized with the aim of developing the professional skills of the officers and employees and improving the quality of administrative activities. Certificates will be distributed among the participants at the end of the training.
