A farewell reception was given to 11 retired teachers and staff at the initiative of Barura Sunnia Kamil Madrasa in Comilla.
On Wednesday, November 19, the traditional Barura Sunnia Kamil Madrasa organized a function at the Madrasa auditorium under the chairmanship of Principal Mufti Ali Akbar Farooqui. Barura Upazila Executive Officer Nu-Mong Marma Mong was present as the chief guest. Barura Upazila Secondary Education Officer Ratan Kumar Saha, Barura Sunnia Kamil Madrasa donor member and Barura Press Club general secretary journalist Md. Elias Ahmed, Madrasa vice-principal Mufti Mizanur Rahman Jafri, Barura Upazila former Muktijoddha Sangsad commander Bir Muktijoddha Shamsul Haque Sardar, Barura Haji Noab Ali Pilot High School headmaster Md. Medhad Uddin, Orai Apanjon social organization general secretary and former BCIC officer Md. Farukul Islam and others were present as special guests. Md. Anwar Hossain, retired headmaster of Kadba Talagram Tarini Charan Laha High School, Md. Asad Ullah, retired senior teacher of Barura Sunnia Kamil Madrasa, and Master Abdul Bari, senior assistant teacher of Shashiya Dudu Mia High School, spoke at the event.
On this day, Barura Upazila Executive Officer Nu-Among Marma Mong handed over farewell mementos, cash and gifts to 11 retired teachers of Barura Sunnia Kamil Madrasa. Speaking as the chief guest, UNO Nu-Among Marma Mong said that Barura Sunnia Kamil Madrasa has always given priority to education. Madrasa Principal Mufti Ali Akbar Farooqui, Vice Principal Mufti Mizanur Rahman Jafri, and Madrasa donor member journalist Md. Ilias Ahmed are working tirelessly to improve the quality of education. The annual results of the madrasa are satisfactory compared to the past. He said that to make a student a skilled and talented student, a teacher must be skilled. Many students who studied in this madrasa are working in the country and abroad, starting from the high level of the government. Therefore, to maintain this trend, he requested the teachers, management committee, guardians and students of the madrasa to work together.
