Drug dealer Al Amin of Sadar Union No. 13 of Muradnagar Upazila of Comilla has been arrested. According to the case, on Sunday night, Muradnagar Police Station SI (unarmed) Raju Barua, along with police forces, conducted an anti-drug operation from in front of the house of Nazrul Islam, a resident of Hirarkanda. At that time, Nazrul Islam’s son Md. Al Amin of Sadar Union No. 13, Hirarkanda, (Jamir Uddin Sarkar Bari) was arrested.
While on night duty with mobile-16 in the Muradnagar Police Station area, the Comilla police came to know on the basis of secret information that some drug dealers were buying and selling drugs at the house of Nazrul, a resident of Hirarkanda under Muradnagar Police Station. To verify the veracity of the said news, SI (Unarmed) Raju Barua along with the accompanying force, on 05/04/2026 AD. Date at approximately 22:20 hrs, arrived at the house of a resident of Hirarkanda, Muradnagar Sadar Union, No. 13, under Muradnagar Police Station, and upon sensing the presence of the police, a person came out of the house and tried to escape. With the help of the accompanying force, they arrested him. When the police saw the arrested accused and asked him the reason for his escape, he could not give any satisfactory answer and kept giving misleading information. Then, while searching the body of the arrested accused Md. Al Amin (31) in front of the witnesses who had arrived at the scene, the police seized a) 11 (eleven) pieces of Yaba tablets kept in a black air-tight polypack, weighing 1.1 grams, b) 2025/- (two thousand twenty-five) Taka in various denominations of cash obtained from drug sales, c) OPPO Reno 8T 5G, model mobile phone used for drug sales, and d) two boxes of DIAMOND Aluminum FOIL paper used for drug consumption, next to the pigeon house next to the courtyard, as shown by him, in accordance with the seizure list.
#Recovery: a) 11 (eleven) pieces of Yaba tablets kept in a black air-tight polypack, weighing 1.1 grams, b) Cash notes of various denominations of Taka 2025/- (two thousand twenty-five) obtained from drug sales, c) OPPO Reno 8T 5G, model mobile phone used for drug sales, and d) Two boxes of DIAMOND Aluminum FOIL paper used for drug consumption, next to the pigeon house next to the courtyard, as shown by him.
