Distribution of Certificates of Computer and Networking Training Course under TEKAB Project in Barura

Certificates, distribution of travel allowance and closing ceremony were held among the trainees of the 2-month long computer and networking training course under the technical assistance project titled TEKAB 2nd Phase by Youth Development Department in Barura, Comilla.
Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s aim to build a smart Bangladesh is to turn educated unemployed youth into skilled human resources by providing timely training in computer technology, creating opportunities for economic and self-employment in the country and abroad by creating skilled youth. Enrichment of computer training centers set up for unemployed youth and increasing opportunities. Computer technology education, computer programming, networking and internet, web pages, graphics design, freelancing and outsourcing, among the most demanding IT sectors in the world, are creating skilled human resources. Besides, under the project, mobile sets, microwave ovens, TVs, VCDs, computer monitors, Salo machines, generators, cars, ACs etc. are being repaired and preserved through the electronics trade, electrical and housewiring trade and refrigeration and air conditioning trade, which are in demand at home and abroad. To work towards the creation of skilled manpower by providing training to thousands of educated unemployed youth and young women of the country.
Deputy Director of Comilla District Youth Development Directorate, Md. Samsuzzaman, was present as the chief guest in the program under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nu-Emong Marma Mong at Barura Upazila Parishad meeting room on Wednesday, February 28 at 3 pm.
Under the direction of Barura Upazila Assistant Youth Development Officer Md. Elias Miar, Barura Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. Borhan Uddin, Computer Instructor Md. Akheruzzaman, General Secretary of Barura Upazila Press Club Md. Ikramul Haque gave welcome speech on the occasion. Mehdi Hasan Shaon and Tashfia Akhter Suchna spoke on behalf of the trainees. Certificates and travel allowance were distributed among 40 trainee youth and young women on this day.
