An introduction and meeting was held with the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner of Rajbari district and learned District Magistrate Afroza Parveen along with officials and dignitaries from various departments of Pansha Upazila.
The meeting was organized at around 11:30 am on Monday (April 20) at the Pangsha Upazila Parishad Auditorium Hall. Deputy Commissioner Afroza Parveen spoke as the chief guest at the meeting held under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Md. Rifatul Haque.
Also present at the meeting were Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Saad Ahmed, Officer-in-Charge of Pangsha Model Police Station Sheikh Moinul Islam, Upazila BNP President Md. Chand Ali Khan, chairmen of 10 unions of the upazila, officials from various government departments and media personnel.
In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized on making the activities of local administration more dynamic and people-friendly. He also called for increasing coordination among all departments and working collectively to improve the quality of services to the people.
