In order to ensure that the students do not forget to drink water during the ongoing heat wave, the Comilla district administration has issued instructions to start ‘water hour’ every hour in all the educational institutions of the district and supply water.
On Saturday (April 27), Deputy Commissioner Khandaker Mushfiqur Rahman sent this instruction to the concerned educational institutions through primary and district education officers and all upazila executive officers.
Comilla Deputy Commissioner Khandaker Mushfiqur Rahman said, “We have started this exceptional water bell on our own initiative to give some relief to the students in severe heat.” As long as the heat wave is high in the country, the water will be running for hours.
