In Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila, the continuous program of gifting new houses to the landless and homeless is continuing. According to the directives of the Prime Minister, the upazila administration is giving a new shelter to the landless and homeless in all the unions of Sadar. As part of this, 215 more families will get new houses on March 22. There is a festive atmosphere among the landless and homeless family members who are happy to move into a new house. According to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila administration sources, in the 3rd and 4th phase, the houses will be given to a total of 215 families in several unions of the upazila. It is known that on March 22 (Wednesday), Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hand over these houses in Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila like the rest of the country through video conference. Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila Project Implementation Officer Raj Kumar Sheel said that one of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s innovations to ensure housing for landless and homeless people in Bangladesh is the Asharyan Project. Not a single person of Bangladesh will remain homeless through the implementation of the shelter project of the Prime Minister. Like the rest of the country, in Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila, a single house construction program is ongoing for the landless and homeless people. Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila Resident Officer Mohammad Zakaria said that the construction of 215 new houses and land office paperwork has already been completed. He said – I feel proud to be involved in the program of giving new houses to the landless and homeless as per the instructions of the Prime Minister.
