Community Policing Day was celebrated in Chapai Nawabganj with the motto “Police Janata Oikya Kari, Build Smart Bangladesh”.
The day was started by blowing balloons in front of Chapainawabganj district police super office on Saturday (October 4) morning. Later, a rally was held at the Nawabganj Town Club auditorium after the circuit of the important roads of the district town.
The discussion was held under the chairmanship of Chapainawabganj District Police Superintendent Chaidul Hasan PPM Seva. Chapainawabganj Sadar-3 Member of Parliament Abdul Odud was present as the chief guest. Debendranath Urao, Deputy Director of Local Government, Member of Parliament of Chapainawabganj Shibganj-1 Constituency Dr. Shamil Uddin Ahmed Shimul, District Community Policing convener Bir Muktijoddha and District Council Chairman Alhaj Ruhul Amin, District Awami League Vice President Dr. Golam Rabbani and Treasurer Erfan Ali, Shibganj Upazila Chairman Syed Nazrul Islam, brave freedom fighter Advocate Abdus Samad and others.
