A colorful rally and discussion meeting was held to celebrate the National Youth Day in Barura, Comilla.
Upazila Assistant Commissioner Lands Md Moin Uddin was present as the chief guest in the program under the chairmanship of Upazila Youth Development Officer Md Rashedul Alam at the Upazila Parishad meeting room on Thursday 1st November.
Upazila Assistant Youth Development Officer Md Elias Miah spoke, Upazila Information Officer Kajal Rekha, General Secretary of Barura Press Club and President of Orai Apanjan Social Organization Journalist Md Ilyach Ahmad, Advisory Member of Rakta Loan Social Organization and General Secretary of Child Marriage Prevention Committee Kazi Momin Ullah spoke. Bhuiya, President of Blood Loan Society, Journalist Md. Sharif Uddin, General Secretary of Friends Blood Bank, Jewel Hossain, and other leaders spoke. On this day, the National Youth Day was attended by the members of various social organizations such as Blood Loan Social Organization, Orai Apanjan Social Organization, Friends Blood Bank, Drug Prevention Committee, Non-Smoking Barura Chai Organization, Team Barura Beside the Helpless, Kemtoli Alo Pathagar, etc.
On the occasion of the National Youth Day, loan checks worth about Tk 10 lakh 60 thousand were distributed among 22 young men and women. A colorful procession was held before the event.
