Chandraghona Christian Hospital holds colorful rally on International Nurses Day

On the occasion of International Nurses Day, a colorful rally was held on Tuesday (May 12) morning at the initiative of the Nursing Department and Nursing Institute of Chandraghona Christian Hospital located in Kaptai, Rangamati.

The rally was taken out from the hospital premises at 9 am with the theme “Our Nurses, Our Future — Empowering Nurses is Needed to Save Lives”. During this time, the nurses dressed in their native attire created a joyful atmosphere with drums, flutes and banners.

The rally started from the hospital area and ended at the hospital premises after circumambulating Chandraghona Dobashi Bazar. Hospital nurses, nursing institute students, doctors and officers and employees of various departments participated in it.

The rally was inaugurated by the hospital director, Dr. Prabir Khiang. He said that nurses are serving with distinction in different parts of the country after receiving education from the nursing institute of this century-old traditional hospital. He further said that the main lesson of International Nurses Day should be the commitment to work with the spirit of human service.
