A section of BNP wearing black cloths and carrying black flags in memory of the missing victims in Brahmanbaria was stopped by the police. On Wednesday evening, the procession left Dakshin Maurail in the municipal area and after a few hundred came, it was blocked by the police and held a brief meeting there.
Zahirul Haque Khokon, former general secretary of district BNP and member of convening committee, addressed the road meeting under the chairmanship of Hafizur Rahman Kochi, former president of district BNP and current convenor of the convening committee. Earlier, a similar program was held at Birasar intersection in the suburb under the leadership of district BNP convening committee member secretary Sirajul Islam Siraj.
