Md. Kabir Hossain From Bhola: A prayer mahfil has been organized by Borhanuddin BNP and Municipal BNP for the speedy recovery and long life of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
This prayer mahfil and milad was organized at the Model Mosque of the upazila on Tuesday (December 2) afternoon.
Alhaj Hafiz Ibrahim, a member of the BNP Central Executive Committee and former MP from Bhola-2 constituency, said in a virtual speech as the chief guest at the prayer mahfil, all of you will pray for former 3-time Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, may Allah heal Madam very soon and bring her back to us. You have seen that Khaleda Zia is the only person in the history of Bangladesh for whom everyone, regardless of party affiliation, is praying for her everywhere in mosques, temples, pagodas.
He said that people from different classes and professions of the country are praying for Khaleda Zia’s illness, forgetting their differences. Begum Khaleda Zia has proven that people love her and she is the undisputed leader of the country.
The prayer service was conducted by Borhanuddin Municipal Ulama Dal President Hafez Maulana Md. Harunur Rashid.
