The new committee of Journalists Union Dinajpur (2936) has been officially approved in the Executive Council meeting of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ). The meeting was held at Rajendra Eco Resort in Gazipur on Saturday (October 04, 2025).
The meeting was attended by Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Acting President Obaidur Rahman Shahin, Secretary General Quader Gani Chowdhury and all the leaders of the Central Executive Committee.
The approval was given unanimously in the meeting, which provided an important legal basis and institutional recognition for journalists in the Dinajpur region. This recognition fulfilled the long-awaited expectations of journalists.
The members of the approved committee of the Journalists Union Dinajpur (2936) are: President Sadaqat Ali Khan, Vice President Faruk Hossain, General Secretary Mahfizul Islam Ripon, Deputy Editor Mahbubul Haque Khan, Finance Secretary Abdus Salam. On behalf of the Journalists Union Dinajpur, all the officials of the BFUJ Executive Committee have been congratulated for their sincere cooperation. They hope that through this formal approval, the journalists of Dinajpur will be able to play a stronger and more united role in establishing their professional rights and protecting their dignity.
