Ā A fine has been collected in the mobile court for the crime of illegal soil extraction in Comilla’s Barura. On Monday, April 10, mobile courts were conducted in different places of the upazila. At that time, the crime of digging soil using veku was taken into account in Herpeti village of Adra Union. 50,000 (fifty thousand taka) fined in light of Balu Mahal and Soil Management Act-2010 to the person involved in the extraction of soil with veku. Barura Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Md. Mehedi Hasan conducted the mobile court. He said that as soon as the news of illegal extraction of soil by veku or dredger machine is received anywhere in Barura Upazila, the culprits will be brought under trial in the mobile court and the mobile court will continue in public interest. . Therefore, he requested the cooperation of all, including the chairman of the union council and public representatives. Adra Union Parishad Chairman Md. Rakibul Hasan Limon along with the police force were present at the time.
