Road accident in Saudi Arabia on the way back to work after performing Umrah. An expatriate Bangladeshi named Liton Mia (30) died tragically.
The deceased Md. Liton Mia (30) is the only son of Chan Mia Sarkar of Rajurkandi village in Gajra Union of Matlab Uttar Upazila of Chandpur District.
According to the information, the accident happened on Saturday around 6 pm. Liton Mia migrated to Saudi Arabia 6 years ago in search of livelihood. Liton Mia used to work in a company in Dammam Al Juwael city in Saudi Arabia.
He was supposed to return home after Eid this year. But he was killed in a road accident on his way back to work after performing Umrah. Liton was the sole breadwinner of the family. The news of his death has cast a shadow of grief on the family and the area, mourning is going on among the family members.
The dead body of Liton Mea is kept in a government hospital’s freezer. After the legal process, efforts are underway to bring his body to Bangladesh.
